August seen the first showing of the Northern Ireland Commercial Cattle Exhibitors club Summer Spectacular at Balmoral Showgrounds. We brought one charolais heifer, J Lo to the show. Early in the day she was placed second in a very strong heavy heifer class. She then went on to be tapped out Overall Charolais Champion under the watchful eye of experienced showman Pearce Mc Namee of Donegal.

J Lo continued her run at Allams in December winning the Senior Charolais heifer class and going on to sell to southern Ireland for breeding at a price of £2,260.

We also brought a limousin heifer to Allams in Decmeber, again sired by Ampertaine Valhalla, she went on to be claim Reserve Overall Limousin Champion and selling to Omagh Meats for a nights price of £2,000.
